Test on Saturday was pretty good. Black belt testing started right at 8:00am, and was a pretty physical test. It was pretty much what I’ve come to expect in a black belt test. A couple new 2nd dans, a few promotions from junior to senior black belt, and one red stripe joining the ranks of 1st dan black belts.
I didn’t ask permission to photograph the black belt test, since this is the first time I’ve done photos at WSAMA. I took a fair number of pictures of the colored belt test.
I was pretty hesitant to get too aggressive in photo-taking, so most of my pics are from the same angle. Maybe next time I will discuss photo-taking with Master Vergara before the test and maybe feel more comfortable getting some better pictures. I’ll also remember my good zoom lens.
ANYWAY!

Informal summer picnic June 20th June 6, 2009

After classes on Saturday, June 20, CAMA and some other schools will be holding an informal summer picnic.
If you think you might come, please let Master Ford know, and bring some drinks (non-alcoholic, please) or chips or something.
Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided.
Sounds like fun to me!
